CONTRACT AND TREATMENT CONDITIONS (AGB)
Ortho-Scheibl, Dr. med. univ. Ulrich Scheibl, Msc.
Albertgasse 50/1, 1080 Wien

Dear patient, dear parent(s),

The use of the medical and non-medical services of our practice takes place under the following conditions unless we agree otherwise in writing:

  • The practice is a private / fee-for-service practice (Wahlarztordination). As a “Wahlarzt” (private physician) I do not settle directly with the health insurance via the e‑card; instead you pay my fee directly to me after the consultation (debit card or cash) and receive an invoice (“Honorarnote”) which you can submit to your health insurance in order to obtain a partial refund.
    • If you have supplementary private insurance, the non‑refunded remainder of the invoice can then be submitted there.
    • The amounts for the different types of consultations can be requested from the practice staff at any time (verbally or by email).
    • The amount of reimbursement by the health insurance is up to 80% of the statutory tariff for the insured services listed on the invoice and also depends, among other things, on whether another orthopaedist was consulted in the same quarter/billing period. Therefore, the exact amount of reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.

  • Since Dr. Scheibl, as a physician, is obliged to keep and store medical documentation, the Latido software solution is used. All data are stored and processed in compliance with the GDPR. You therefore also consent to Dr. Scheibl storing and processing all data about you / your child in Latido.

  • Please note that there are different appointment types. Further information can be found in our online appointment booking.

  • Please arrive at the practice about 10 minutes before your appointment to keep waiting times short!

  • Appointments can be booked online via the homepage https://www.ortho-scheibl.at/; for acute appointments you are also welcome to contact us by email!

  • The conclusion of an individual treatment contract is effected by factual conduct (your registration in the practice and/or the treatment by the physician).

  • If you are unable to attend, it is absolutely essential that you cancel in good time. If you do not cancel online or by email at least 24 hours before an appointment, we reserve the right to charge a no‑show fee of € 80 to mitigate the loss incurred.

  • We accept no liability or any other warranty for any items you bring into our practice (e.g. toys or clothing).

  • Findings queries / assessments: You consent to the physician sending you information on findings by email. If this is not desired, please provide a written notification from the patient.

  • Consent to the processing of your data in accordance with the data protection regulation is required for online appointment booking, including appointment reminders and online communication. If this is not desired, please provide written notification from the patient.

  • Processing time: Dr. Scheibl and the practice endeavour to process inquiries as quickly as possible. Please note that there may be longer waiting times when the volume of inquiries is high!

  • Acute cases: In acute cases outside my availability, please contact the health hotline by phone (Tel: 1450) and, in an emergency (e.g. fractures, dislocations, etc.), always present to the nearby hospital emergency departments and/or call the ambulance / emergency physician (Tel: 144).
